Cresskill Cub Scout Pack 121
The overall aims of scouting are to develop a child's character, train him in good citizenship, and encourage him to become more fit—physically, mentally, and morally.
The vision of the Scouts BSA is to prepare America's youth to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders who are guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Next Pack Meeting: Blue and Gold Banquet – Wednesday, February 26 - 6:30 PM - 8:00 pm
Our next pack meeting is this coming Wednesday, February 26, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the American Legion (75 Legion Dr, Cresskill, NJ 07626). This special meeting is our Blue and Gold Banquet, a fun-filled evening for Scouts and their families!
The Blue and Gold Banquet is a long-standing Cub Scout tradition celebrating the founding of Scouts BSA in 1910. It’s named after Cub Scouting’s official colors:
Blue represents truth and loyalty
Gold represents good cheer, happiness, and helping others
This banquet is a time to recognize our Scouts' achievements, award ranks and advancements, and celebrate their hard work. It’s also a great opportunity for families to connect, enjoy a special evening together, and reinforce the values of teamwork and leadership.
Pizza will be provided!
Scouts should be in uniform.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
Next Pack Meeting: Pinewood Derby Design - Jan 22nd - 6:30 PM - 8:00 pm
Our next meeting will be our Pinewood Derby Design meeting. We will distribute car kits, and scouts will design their cars. An adult will operate a bandsaw to cut out the rough designs.
Scouts should be in Uniform. There is nothing else to bring but yourselves.
Learn more about our Pinewood Derby here, including the rules. If this is your first pinewood Derby or it you are looking to brush up on the basics with your scout, check out this article and video on the science behind winning pinewood derby cars.
